Benoit Paquin of Soliton Associates will present an overview of the new SAX (Sharp APL) for Linux product, which is currently available for download from the Soliton web site in beta form. (see below)
In addition to SAX for Linux, Benoit will talk about writing GUI applications using the Java Interface, which will be available soon for evaluation on Linux.

Soliton Associates Ltd. is pleased to announce SHARP APL for Linux. SHARP APL for AIX and Solaris have been productively in use by Soliton's corporate customers since 1994. SHARP APL for Linux is the result of a POSIX port of the AIX/Solaris products and is fully compatible with the AIX/Solaris versions. SHARP APL for Linux is now available as a beta release, with a production version planned for the first quarter of 2000.
