A Symposium on Web Programming

The June 23rd Toronto ACM APL SIG meeting is devoted to Web Programming. Ben Best, the 1995-96 Toronto SIG Chairman will give an introductory talk concerning some of the basics of Web Programming. He will then allude to some of the more sophisticated issues and possible roles for APL and J.

Frank Williams, who manages a team of Web programmers at ISTAR, will share his knowledge of Web-programming techniques and issues.

Manuel Duarte, who is in charge of Intranets for the Scotia Capital Markets division of Scotiabank, will also share some of his expertise -- as well as his plans for establishing a "WebMaster's Guild" in Toronto.

Input from other SIG members who have information & expertise to share concerning Web programming will be very welcome.
