I have about 20 years of APL experience, having first used it in 1979. Over the past 10 years I have developed an asset and liability management system in APL+Win (originally in APL*PLUS II), and provided continuing enhancements to it. The system is used by banks in 7 countries in Southern Africa and South East Asia, and also in England.

Infogold was the information processing division for the Gold Division of Anglo American Corporation, a large mining house in South Africa.

Duties included:

• Developing a translator to convert data into the internal structure used by APL.

Riskflow Technologies is a software development company that specialises in providing consulting services in the field of asset and liability management and developing software in support of this consulting.

• Designing, developing and supporting an asset and liability management system (ALMAN). The system is in use in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
